Itinerary:

Day 1: Cairo Arrival Transfer and Overnight in Cairo or Giza Hotel

Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met by Egypt Gift Tours representative, then transfer you to your hotel. Our rep. will help you settle in, then the rest of the day is free at your leisure. If your flight lands early, then you could take a first look at the pyramids with an amazing sound and light show, or perhaps head into downtown Cairo for a Nile dinner cruise and show (optional).

Day 2: Day Tour to Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara

This morning, your private guide will pick up you for a full day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. Start in chronological order, as it were, by visiting the step pyramid of Saqqara; the first capital of ancient Egypt, this is the oldest pyramid in Egypt 4800 B.C, built by King Djoser, before exploring the famous pyramids at Giza.

Stop for lunch break (optional) then, continue visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind, enjoy the views and take remarkable pictures. You’ll find your local Egyptology guide a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history, and their country in general. Back to your Hotel in Cairo or Giza for overnight.

Day 3: Day Tour to Alexandria From Cairo

Start with early morning pick-up for a full day tour to Alexandria from Cairo. Tour Alexandria’s most significant and fascinating spots with your private tour guide. See the Greek and Roman masterpieces ruins at the National Museum, descend into the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, with the beautiful artworks, visit the Roman Theater, take in views from the 15-century fortifications at the Citadel of Qaitbay. Explore the New Alexandria library at your own pace. Drive Back in comfort to your hotel in Cairo for overnight.

Lunch is optional in this tour.

Day 4: Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo and Overnight Sleeper Train to Aswan

This morning have your breakfast and check out, meet your guide to start your day tour to the Egyptian Museum; home to the fantastic Tutankhamun exhibit, see his golden mask and many of the New Kingdom royal mummies, lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries full of thousands of artifacts.

Have lunch at a local restaurant (optional) before exploring some of the most famous churches in Cairo. Travel to the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr. Both these churches were built into the walls of the Babylon Fortress and their remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures. Visit the Church of St Sergius next before

Continue to visit the famous Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha At Salah Al Din Citadel, built on famous hill Al Moqattam in Cairo, that was constructed for military purposes, for protecting Cairo from incoming threats. Since then, it became a residence of the king of Egypt for many centuries. On this tour, you will visit the beautiful Mohamed Ali known as Alabaster Mosque. Political event called “Massacre of the Citadel” happened in the Citadel in 1811, where Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) murderedMameluke leadersinQaser El Gawharapalace, and it’s not currently opened for visits.

In the evening you will be picked up and transferred to Cairo train station to take your night sleeper train to Aswan (about 12-14 hours).

Meals included: Breakfast at the hotel and dinner on the train.

Accommodation: Overnight Sleeper train.

Day 5: Aswan Arrival Transfer to Nile Cruise and Aswan Tours

Once you arrive at Aswan train station, our representative will meet and assist you at Aswan Railway station to be transferred by an A/C car to your 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board.

Then, start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric. Proceed to visit the Greco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, return back to your cruise for dinner, folkloric show, and Overnight in Aswan.

Note: If your arrival to Aswan is so early, so we might start the tour direct upon arrival since the cruise check-in time at 12:00 and we don’t want our guest to waste their time waiting at the lobby for check-in.

Day 6: Abu Simbel Trip (Sharing g a group), Sailing and Kom Ombo Temple

Around 4:30 am, you will be picked up for Abu Simbel Temples Trip(Sharing a small group).This amazing site was completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded. Drive for about 3 hours, to be met by your Egyptology guide; who will escort you to the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel, telling you the stories and the history of the iconic sights of ancient Egypt. Back to the cruise by noon time.Have lunch and be ready for the cruise navigation by afternoon heading to Kom Ombo city where to visit the amazing Temple Of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods: Horus (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). Also, you will get to visit the Crocodile Museum. Get back to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.

Note: The cruise options for Sundays and Thursdays start sailing to Kom Ombo in the early morning of day 3 around 5 am. We will do all the excursions mentioned in the itinerary but in different order according to the cruise schedule.

Day 7: Edfu Temple and Arrive Luxor (visit Luxor Temple)

Around 5:30 to 6 am, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise to have your breakfast and start sailing. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Luxor. Cross Esna Lock, lunch on board and afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Late in the afternoon, arrive Luxor; built on and around the ancient site of Thebes, and has the greatest concentration of ancient ruins in the Nile Valley, if not the world. Across the Nile lies the City of the Dead, with its mortuary temples and rock carved tombs. To the east stand the Temples of Luxor and Karnak.

Meet your guide to visit Luxor Temple which is in the center of town and is colorfully lit up by night and where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board and belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 8: Luxor West Bank, Karnak Temple Tour and Overnight at Luxor Hotel.

Have breakfast and check out at 8 am to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the new kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunchtime in a local restaurant (optional).

Continue to visit the massive temple of Karnak. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long sphinx lined avenue. Inside the large courtyard are three temples. The much photographed Hypo-style Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each is carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls

At the end of the day, you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor to check and overnight.

Day 9: Free Day and Overnight in Luxor hotel

Day 10: Hurghada Private Transfer from Luxor

Take your breakfast, then start your journey to Hurghada around 7 am by a private A/C vehicle; for approx. 4 hours driving. Arrive by noon, at Hurghada 4-star resortto check in for 2 nights, relax on the beach and enjoy swimming in the crystal water. Accommodation for 2 nights with HB (half board service, dinner and breakfast). Feast on open buffet breakfast and dinner.

Meals Included: breakfast in Luxor hotel and dinner in Hurghada.

Day 11: Free Day in Hurghada and Optional Safari trip

Have your breakfast and enjoy the beach for couple of hours, then at 11 am you can select, optional tour (with extra charger) to do the Sunset Desert Quad Bike safari with camel ride and and Bedouin dinner.

Day 12: Free Day in Hurghada and Optional Snorkeling Trip

Have peace of mind and enjoy a full day snorkeling trip at Nemo Island (Previous Giftun Island) (optional) to explore the most beautiful coral reef in the world, enjoy swimming, fishing and too much fun. With door-to-door transport and buffet lunch included.

Day 13: Free Day in Cairo and Overnight at Cairo or Giza Hotel

Early morning, check out from your hotel and transfer to Hurghada airport for the 1 hour flight to Cairo. Free day, where you can add the optional tour to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) and Cairo Citadel.

Day 14: Departure transfer

Have your breakfast and c heck out. Then, our representative will escort you to the airport for departure according to your flight schedule.
